All-Bubble Team (position-less) : Dame (MVP), Book, Harden, Luka, & TJ Warren  

Favorite 5 Players/Teams/Lineups/Rotations Watched Not named Damian or Devin :   

1. Luka...but more importantly fully healthy KP.  

2. Alex Caruso, Dion Waiters & Kyle Kuzma on the floor at the same time  

 3. The Raptors DEEP depth (Boucher, Matt Thomas, RHJ, Stanley Johnson, etc.)  

4. The Hurricane Boyz of Miami (Herro & Robinson) + Bam 

    5. BOL BOL

Random Thoughts I Can't Rid From My Brain Since the Bubble Started:  

- It's nice to see after many years of the Thunder struggling to find serviceable wings and role guys to play alongside their stars, it looks like they have something with Lu Dort and Darius Bazley. Andre Roberson can also hit an open three now. That will really help KD and Russ ! Not to mention, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, Cam Payne, Enes Kanter & Jeff Green are finally thriving in their given roles...on different teams. Great work by Coach Monty Williams as well ! (I've buried this team a couple years ago...I swear I've really moved on.)  

- Duncan Robinson is Klay Thompson if he were created in a lab.   

- You know how these sports social media accounts always tease us w/ those "you have $10 to create the perfect team or player. How are you budgeting?" to spark debate. Well what if you were only given like 10 cents to make a really good NBA player from the bubble. For this exercise, the budget basketball Frankenstein I created was made with: little man scrappiness of - Jeremiah Martin, big man scrappiness of - Drew Eubanks, the body of - Kostas Antetokounmpo, the skill potential of - Darius Bazley, the IQ of - Raul Neto, the medium game of - PJ Dozier, and the shooting stroke of - Ben McLemore. I think I made a legit guy. What say you? You should definitely try putting your bargain-bin guy together and I'll fight to the death to defend that my Jerewaulostas McDozokounmpoley is better than whatever you made.

- Is Caris Levert a consistent step-back three move away from being a diet version of James Harden? OR Is James Harden a Caris Levert-film study away from conquering scoring at all levels of the court/using the midrange as another threat to his scoring ability?

- Will Lou Williams be allowed to invite both his girlfriends into the bubble?

- I'd like to close with an observation that may be inappropriate for the kids, but here it goes: JJ Redick's deep stroke makes my eyes bulge. Pause. Heh heh heh.

1 - 5. Luka Doncic - 29 / 9 / 9 splits on the season and has averaged 35.4 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 11.6 assists inside the Orlando bubble at age TWENTY-ONE. What even is that... This dude is like watching Larry Bird meets James Harden on cocaine, but somehow even better.

  

Jk 2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - Anson & I have been trying to figure out a player comp for this dude, but there really isn't one? The only one I came up with was 6'6" Kenny Anderson. Help?

3. Nurkic / Porzingis - Always love, love, love seeing guys be healthy again and playing back up to speed.

4. Skinny Kyle Lowry! - Everyone knows Skinny Kyle Lowry is undefeated. Unfortunately...

5. Jevon Carter & Cameron Payne - Who knew that the best backcourt in the NBA was actually playing for the Phoenix Suns? Not me!

HM: Bol Bol - Would've loved to see him get more run in the actual games but I guess we get what we can get. Loved watching Bol Bol since high school knowing he was going to grow up to be 14 feet tall and be able to shoot threes like his pops (RIP the late, great Manute Bol).

Random Thoughts I Can't Rid From My Brain Since the Bubble Started: 

- Why is Zion so fat? Is it a problem moving forward? This is a thicc ass boy. Is he still good at basketball if he isn't fat?

- Everyone else in the world outside of Memphis would've rather watched Dame and Book go head to head in the play in. Why can't the Suns just take the Magic's 8th seed spot instead?

- What're the odds of the Lakers getting upset by the Blazers? The Lakers have been slumping in the bubble, but I can't tell if it's because they're not trying or if it's cause they're actually struggling. Things might be extra fun in a 7-game series against angry Dame. I swear if I hear Mark Jones or Reggie Miller say that Lillard's hotter than fish grease one more time... Anyways, Lakers in 5.

- Finals predictions: Celtics and Lakers 2 - 4 (Lakers). For Kobe! Really gonna need the Bucks to not make it to the Finals so that Giannis can just hurry up and move to the Bay Area.

- BASKETBALL IS BACK!
